A grizzly bear named Boog, domesticated by a park

ranger, helps deer friend Elliot escape from the

muller-sporting hunter. After a misunderstanding,

Beth is convinced that Boog is reverting to his wild

nature and releases him in the woods just as hunting

season begins. Elliot and Boog develop strong bond

not only between themselves but also with the wild

animals and attempt to drive hunters out of the

forest.

The first production of Sony Pictures Animation is

an amusing digital cartoon with many funny scenes

and a sense of slapstick that reminds the crazy world

of Bags Bunny and Daffy Duck.
